Larry’s opening monologue. He reads a letter that a
listener sent to him along with a dowsing rod.
Larry then talks about various celebrity news and or
scandals from some newspaper and tabloids.
Headlines include Joe Nameth, Bing Crosby, and David
Carradine cleaning up his act (yes, that David Carradine)
Larry tells a story about Mrs. Cassidy, a listener who
is celebrating her 30th wedding anniversary.
She sent Larry a piece of cake.
Headlines: good news for “76”.
Jack from Streeter, Ill calls to ask Larry how many
listeners he has. Jack is 16 years old.
Larry has some fun with the caller.
Next caller tells Larry to hold on while she turns the
radio off. Larry jokes a bit and she hangs up on him.

Tape ends at this point.
